    1999 Mustang GT

    Mustang Owner........

    Hey guys,

    First off I would like to say I own a Black 1999 Mustang GT 5 Spd, and a 2004 Triumph Dayton 600 (Motorcycle). I previously owned a 2004 313WHP Eelectric Blue SRT-4.

So heres the deal, I bought my Mustang well for the pure fact that I needed a car and fast. The Mustang was a great deal, a quick car, and a good price. I knew its not the fastest thing on the road, but its respectable and looks good. I mean hell I was driving a Neon before, so I figured I would go with looks instead of performance.

Well here I am I have had my car since November, and I am bored already. The only way to make my car fast is N20, or FI. I do NOT want to do either.

Well I am always hearing "OMG LS1z THEYRE FAST AS HELL" even though I blew by most of them in my SRT-4 . I am curious to see what the big deal is. So I think im gonna sell my Mustang, and buy a Camaro.

I am looking at a 2002 Black Camaro SS 6 SPD. I personally am gonna throw the body kit that Chevy gave some of the RS coupes on it. Then I am gonna throw on deep dish Vet Rims 18 inch Chrome. I would also get the SS Symbols silver, not digging the whole red thing.

Ok now that my car is looking sexy as hell I would like to get a fast car, but I don't want it to be loud or unreliable, so what do you suggest I do?

    Any Pros/Cons about the Camaro?

Anything I should look out for when buying a 98+ Camaro? (Noises, Tranny, you know what I mean.)

I would like to know how strong the internals are.
What can the stock tranny/clutch hold power wise?

Also, Don't hate on the Mustangs please. I am just looking for some help. Mustangs and Camaros are the first thing people think of when it comes to American Muscle, so I would rather be comrads then enemies.

Anything else you would like to add would be awesome. Thanks!

Check the car out thoroughly like you would any other car.

What is the big deal? They make 300whp stock...oh, 400whp NA is easily done...ummm...they run 11's on a mild shot of spray....they get 27+mpg...ummm...I could go on

I ran a 02 5-speed GT with CAI/Catback and I had a full tank of gas and am BONE STOCK. 40-100 giving him the honk AND the hit I put 4 cars on him (started even and ended with 2 car-lengths of daylight between out cars). i am so glad my friends convinced me NOT to get an 04 GT.
