Thinking about joing the LS1 crowd...
Well I have wanted an SS for a while and now I think I may get one. I am going to take a look at one and was wondering if this is a good deal or not..
7400 OBO
Description:
98 camaro ss
has 73000 miles on a ls1 with a 6 speed manual trans, zr1 wheels, t tops, slp package/ exhaust, front strut bar, sub frame connectors, short shifter much more bolt ons and loose parts...the car runs great and sounds good. the interior is almost perfect and the body needs a little work front bumper damage.

It is a very good deal.. but first I would car-fax it ..just to be sure .. I did a couple car-fax for some guys and things come up that you dont exspect ... My time ran out after I bought the GTO but someone may have a open accout or just pay the $29...better than makeing a $7400 mistake ...

Well I went to look at the car today and the interior is in good shape. But the outside needs some work. The fender and bumper needs to be replaced. Also there is a crack in the drivers door, approximately 4 inches long. Also paint is needed on the hood and the plastice piece behidn the ttops. however he did say that he was willing to go as low as 6900 for it. What do you guys think? Thanks.

for $6900 i would definately get it. Thats a killer deal for a SS. You can always fix the imperfections later if they really bug you.

yeah like get a cheap bumper etc after, but now make sure the engine sounds good, it's clean, no oil eating, piston slaping..etc.. it should sound clean when you rev to 4k.

Is it just me or is the steering wheel turned to the right too far for the wheels to be almost straight? other than that is looks like a good deal.
