bfgoodrich kdw any good?
I know that they have a bad ass tread pattern, but how about the traction? What have you experienced and what is the best tire for traction on the market, besides slicks or street slicks?

Cyclone Grey Metallic- 2005 GTO
I have the older style KDW (not the flame pattern). And love em. Fairly good street traction. Nothing to write home about.
They are alright in the rain, I don't have TCS and have to watch spinning, but it's nothing that you can't control.
Tread wear has been pretty good. I have about 20k on mine and they still have tons of tread. Much much much better than the stock F1's.
I would recommend them.
If you want the best traction and a "good" street tire, get drag radials. Nittos have the best tread life, but the worst traction, MT's have the best traction, but don't last more than 5k miles.

I have the newer (flame) design and I love them. Best tires I've had yet. Perfect for Socal weather. Great all around performance for my daily driver

These were the stock tires on my 04 GTO, I thought they were a good tire until about 20k. At that point they made driving in the rain lots of fun. I hated them in the snow....
