Choosing the Right Hawk Pads for Street/Track Use
Quick question about the Hawk pads.
I have stock rotors and i'm looking for replacement pads.
After talking with some guys who told me choose the Hawk brand, but I'm still undecided on the type.
Summers in Ohio can get to a low of ~40*, and my Z is a summer only daily driver. I also autocross frequently and have occasional track days.
Will Hawk HP+ work as a good daily driver pad on cold mornings and still be an strong pad for the track??
I have heard mixed reviews of the HPS track use.
Also, should I run HP+ on all 4 corners or run stock or HPS pads on the rears?
Anyone have experience with any of these combos on the street?
Thanks,
Ray
