Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
Requesting opinions on interior painted pieces
Just when you guys think I have run out of appearance mods to do to my car, here comes another one
I haven't made up my mind on this one yet, I have not installed the gauge bezel yet either. They are colormatched in pewter metallic and I have the originals if I don't like this look either. Give me feedback guys, positive or negative.

not my cup of tea, but if you like it go for it. I run different head and tail lights on my car and some don't like it. I don't care its my car.

i think it will look better once the guage peice is in. what about painting the peice by ur shifter i would say you need to incorporate the pewter in the doors somewhere to.jmo

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
I considered the doors but decided against it. I know of someone that has the same pieces as me painted pewter and the door pieces and its just too much for my taste. I didn't have an extra trim piece around the shifter and don't really think I want to go to the hassle of getting one to try it either. The guy that had it done also had his leather inserts done in pewter which really tied everything together. I think that is what isn't working with mine.

Man I hate you. I'm convinced your whole point in life is to make me feel like my car is ugly.
That'll look awesome, but I'd be careful not to do to much and make it look tacky.

Below is the pic I was speaking of that gave me the idea. I think the pewter inserts on the seats tie it all together real well. The pewter door pieces are just too much IMO.

P, am i gonna wake up one of these days and come across a thread that you painted your GF Pewter and blackedout her finger and toenails?...?
it looks good but like it with the leather inserts in the seats and pieces shown. thats just the right amount, IMO. i would be afraid that anything more than that would be overkill...

not bad did that to my ta about 4 years ago. it will work and be good color but i would do black just casue it matches everything inside, but just dont paint them, sand them down till all oragne peel is gone then paint/clear. i hate the look of painted intr. parts that show OP.
and im sure you have taken that off lots of times before but when its painted its soo easy to ruin new paint. remove the wheel tilt, and plastic pce around it.
