    Should I port it?

Wazzup everybody........ I have a '00 SS M6, headers, ory, cam, and most
of the free mods, I was wondering if I would benefit from a throttle body port.
I don't think I need a bigger TB, but I of course want the best airflow.
I saw thunder racing will do it for $150 plus the old core, is this worth it?

Yea you'd benifit from it...specially with the cam...might also wanna look into a ls6 manifold if you haven't already swapped the stocker out.

I got a buddy that works at a hotrod shop called extreme porformance in okc. I asked him about doing that and he said its really not worth it for what you spend.he told me that there was never ever not once an improvement in the proformance of the engine when he ran a dyno to test the theory. so in my opinion save your money for a bigger throttle body or injectors.

its not what they can handle, its if they can keep up.they can handle any kind of bolt on bullshit its when you start doing mechanical things like cams, lifters, rockers, intakes ect. thats when you need to do upgrades with fuel delivery to compensate for the bottom end improvements.ive got guys pushin close to 400 hp to the ground all with stock injectors and tb,s. I personaly think you should save a little more money and buy a programer. because then you can adjust things like fuel and timing curve untill your ready to upgrade the bottom end.think of it like putting a holly 850 cfm carb on a stock four bolt 350.really dont do shit for hp and just makes it eat gas like crazy

(sorry my bad) i just saw that you have allready installed a cam. in that case it would depend on how big the duration of the cam is. if its a fairly big cam then yes you would probly benifit from something like a 90mm throttle body.
