buy new TB or send out stocker to get ported?
i was reccomend to this site that ports TBs and wondering if i should do it. or is it just worth it to buy a new tb if soo which onw and which size should i get? here is the site that does it, if there any good?

Depends what your overall goals for the car are. Most street cars are fine with a ported TB. But if you need to move some serious air, then you might want to look into a larger TB. Havin gyour TB ported is usally cheaper than buying a whole new unit.

black- 2000 nhra edition formula
my throttle body is stock. i was going to have it ported but the tuner from speed inc said why bother. he said sometimes theres a few h.p gain, other times theres not.
texas speed also stopped porting T/Bs for the same reason2000 nhra edition formula
a few bolt ons, 379 rwhp

I ported my stock TB and feel like it was a worthwhile mod.

yea just emailed them and they said they would do a 75 mm port. then i asked if any higher and still waiting for anwer.
hey for my year would the bump stop be good for me? or is that usally included?

and another thing would the coolent bypass be good for me? since its not always summer year round, even thoe i dont drive my car in the winter i just heard that i cant do it.

ive done the TBB and I drive all year round in Philly with no issues. Chalk it up to evrything adds up mod.

yeah the bump stop should be free from new era, it allows the blade to open to a full 90 degrees at wot.
if you live where it gets below freezing (and i assume detroit does lol) it could create some probs when the car is first started. not worth the hassle for the possibility of like 1 more hp.

do aftermarket TB's come w/ the bump stop mod standard?l like the bbk and what tb should i buy brand/size?
casue this company says that they can only port to 75mm only 3mm or it will go into the casting. should i do it for only $75 or buy a new one thats bigger?
