Any pics of cut out switch placement??
I think suede showed me his already, but i'd like some more ideas. I just got the wiring run today, it was pretty easy, just had to make it look neat.
Also, where's a good place for a ground...any easy bolts around to attach it to? Haven't bothered looking yet...
Thanks
Cut out should be here Monday, KYSPEED already hooked me up with the DMH motor, thanks bobby!

I placed my cut-out switch right between the Traction Control button and the Pontiac logo. Came out very clean. Also, it made it very easy to splice into the lighter wires. Just splice the black wire as your ground wire. FIY - Orange is the power source. And make sure you disconnect your battery before you start. I also ran the rest of the wires under the passenger seat carpet.

Thanks, after I found the cigarette lighter's wires today, I was thinking of doing the same thing. Nice install.

Hmmm...
Gonna have to find a good place for my switch as well.
I have a TCS plaque, so that is out.
I have a linelock switch in the ashtray, so that is out.....

My switch is kinda long, it's hard to describe. It probably won't fit anywhere on the center console. I'll probably have to drill a hole below the ignition switch, where the plug-in goes for the code reader...might have to put around there.

Wades is on the side of the console right where your kneecap would be..
I would personally go with TSS and get a custom switchpanel made for it like i did with my fan switches

You should wire the cutout to a switched source not a constant. It will kill your battery if you dont drive it everyday. I got mine on ebay for $220 with 3" cutout pipe. Installed for $60. My switch is right by my right thigh so when the cops pull me over I can close it without reaching.
