Thread: remove catback for LT install

remove catback for LT install
I just received my magnaflow cat back and plan to put it on soon and i plan on getting lts and ory within a month. to install the lts and then the y pipe, would i have to take the entire catback off? Or can i just remove the I pipe?

You don't have to touch the catback to install LTs and a new Y. Whatever setup you get should bolt right up to the front of your catback

i agree with z driver but on the same token i found it easier to bolt on the headers and ory then loosen the rear hanger on the muffler to move the i pipe and muffler back just enough to slip over y pipe. Seemed to work out easier
