Is there a LT Header thats good for lowered cars?
My car is lowered 1.5incs and I wanted to add LT's, but I’m afraid there will be clearance problems. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks for your help.

from what i hear and read on the boards here pacesetters or kooks is what you want to look at if you want clearance and to keep the cost down.
i myself am lowered like you but im running dynatech supermaxx thats a complete system and is more pricey then then pacesetters or kooks. i have no issues on clearance though as i have yet to scrape the longtubes
hope this helps you some

Actually you should only have problems with the SLP Long Tube Headers... Most of the others you will be fine with.
We have coated PaceSetters, but you would be best with stainless Kooks or QTPs if you can afford them.

To 02 WS6:
I am yet to upgrade the exhaust on my TA but i think the gains should be around 15-20 rwhp for lt's over shorties. But it depends on the rest of your exhaust system too.

You cant keep the stock Y on with LTs.
I have the pacesetters and am lowered 1.5 inch on BMR springs. I have no clearance issues with these headers and ORY.02 TA A4

I am lowered almost 2 inches and have Flowtech LT's and ORY. I am very pleased with the clearance. I did have a banging issue but that was easily fixed. Pics ar in my sig Plus the ORY was only 100$ at Tbyrne.

Yeah, I got SLP longtubes on mine with SLP Y-pipe and I think it was lowered an 1". It drags on every speed bump and most driveways. It isn't the headers though, it is the Y-pipe that hits everything. I thought about putting a slight bend upward after the headers and attaching the Y-pipe to that. If it was up just an inch or two it would clear most things. I hate the idea of putting aluminized exhaust sections on an otherwise all stainless system. I put chrome 05 vettes on it, 18"s all around, and that raised it a little but not much.
