Stupid Question
If I install the Eibach 1.2" lowering springs on my car, do I have to change the shocks, ie Konis or revalved, or can I just use my factory Bilsteins? I know I will have to install adjustible panhard bar to center the rear. Thanks in advance for all support.

(No stupid questions, just stupid people J/K this is what Forums are for, a place for help)
Changing the stock shocks is not required to lower a car. 1 1/2 isn’t that much anyway. A wheel alignment would be a good idea though. The pan hard bar is not required either because you’re changing the pinion angle not the alignment. A torque arm bar would fix that if it became a problem.
And for those who much chime in with perfect geometry... New shocks would help because your compression the stock shocks when lowering and that takes a little of the travel away. Stiffer shock would help prevent bottoming out and improve performance.

another stupid question
My car is a convertible and Eibach shows the springs do not fit a convertible. What are my options?

really? hmm I didnt know there was a difference. Probably because Verts need more frame support and weight more. You could just call them to be on the safe side or look into a different manufacture

You are referring to Sportlines.
They actually fit with no problem... but I recommend you put the Prokits instead of the Sportlines.
several reasons for that...
1. more suspension travel
2. linear spring rate
3. higher spring rate.
combining all 3 not in favor of Sportlines together, it's a situation where it's almost impossible to dampen the spring rate properly.
You'd end up haveing 2 choices... overdamping the system, killing the shocks and not letting the springs do their work, or bottoming out constantly if you go w/ Sportlines.
Been there, done that, cost me 2 rear koni DAs... then upgraded to Prokits.Eugenio_SS
almost stock triple-black 2000 SS convertible with 17x11s on all 4 w/ 315s at the track or on the street with 18x10.5s on all 4 w/ 315s: (1), (2)

That’s what I was thinking too. I have a coupe with Sport lines and Koni DA and don’t have a problem. But the added weight of the vert is just enough the throw it off. Better stick with the Prokit. I had Prokit of a previous camaro and it worked great but I wanted a lower spring this time so I went with the Sport line.

Thanks for the help. I ordered my Eibach kit yesterday, hopefully it will be here by this weekend.
