The car has been garaged all it's life in San Diego and was rarely driven.
I just picked it up 2 weeks ago, as it was my fathers. He has Alzheimers
and is in assisted living quarters now. We're trying to sell the house and
so I had to go get the car and what was left of my things out of the house.

Pewter metallic- 2000 Camaro SS
The gap you see on the front fender down around the door is an easy fix. Get yourself a 2x4 and a rubber mallet. Underneath the car, you will where the fender bolts up to the frame, should have 2 bolts on it. Put the 2x4 on it and hammer it in, but do it gently. It should close up the gap.
Welcome to the site and always glad to see more pewter around here

Thanks Y2K! Yeah, my father had told me last year that he had his oil/service done at
the old 76 service station down on 2nd street in El Cajon, CA. Apparently they're no longer
in business, but I told him I think I knew why... hence the front fenders. Gotta love it
when idiots don't know where to lift the car at! Makes me wonder what some people are
thinking... ?

you gotta really worry about some people. True story. The last time anyone other than myself drove my f-body I took it to have new nitto's put on the back. In years past I always just pulled the tires and took them up and had them swapped out but I was feeling lazy so I took the car up. They hung my driveshaft safety loop on the lift trying to drive it on but the car sat to low. I see a bunch of them gathered out there looking at it and walking around it ( at the time I didn't know what for) so I go out the door and walk around to the garage just in time to see them backing my car up with a little ass jack underneath the drivers side to get the loop unhung. I went ballistic. Called them about every version of dumb ass I could come up with. They even had the car jacked in the same spot that made your quarter gap like that. Fortunately nothing bad happened but if that jack would've slipped I would've killed someone right there. After it all calmed down they moved it to their other lift and then while I supervised they raised the car. They kept asking me where to lift it from. I'm pointing and yelling "sub frame connectors" the whole time. None of them had ever even seen sub frames. I'll never go back and no one will EVER drive my car again.

Well I don't want to do too much right now. First I would like to get a lid and
exhaust done. And I want to get the Eibach sportline springs for it.
But one little thing I can't seem to figure out is, how does the black grill cover
come out? I was told it was just snapped in.
