    Floppy gas pedial

I have a 99 z28 Camaro and my gas pedal seems to be really easy to move back and forth with my foot like there is allot of slack in it. Is there any way this can be fixed.

Mine does the same thing, it made me wonder if my car was even going WOT, so i checked the throttle body while someone held the pedal to the floor and it was still all the way open.

I think they made it that way for a reason. My thinking is they did it for when you pull the floor mats out, that would be my guess.

no it's loose front to back, if put my foot under it with almost no pressure at all i can move like an inch or so back and forth like its not held in place by tension like the brake and clutch. Also it's allot farther down than the brake pedal.
