Sick!!!
So, I am quite sick and am wondering if anyone has advice. Ate Taco Bell (doesn't know if that matters) last night around 7 pm. Diarria (however you spell it) at around 1 am. Woke up today feeling nausea on and off (haven't puked) kind of like waves, on and off. Diarria all day today. No fever, not really weak at all or tired. I feel hungry but at the same time I don't. Joints feel all right. I would go to the doctor but no health insurance and I don't think it is life threating. Anyone have ANY advice, it would be helpful.

Help a brother out. I know your all not doctors but someone has had to have something similar. Only reason I ask is it does not feel like the flu. At least not a flu I have ever had.

It sounds like you could have food poisoning or a type of stomach virus. I would suggest taking an antimetic (nausea medicine like Pepto-Bismol will work) and drinking plenty of clear liquids until diarrhea goes away (water, chicken noodle soup, juices). Most food poisoning usually take longer to show up but there are other forms that do show signs earlier, but either way treatment is about the same. If you start seeing blood in stool or vomit then i would go get checked out. I'm a nurse not a doctor but hope this helps you out. Hope you feel better.

Thanks for the sympothy. I checked WebMD and I couldn't find a disease that meets all of my symptoms. I think i may puke just to take care of this fucking nausea

Some guys I work with had the same thing recently after eating at Taco Bell. Maybe they haven't weeded out all the e-coli issues quite yet.
There's a reason I've never desired to eat there, that could be why...
Feel better man.....

I may sound like a alcholic but I am considering seeing how this germ can handle about 15 captains and cokes. At least when I puke I won't feel it.

Weird shit, I drank a Gatorade, and my nausea is totally gone, but the diarrhea is still going. Nausea has been gone for about 2 hrs, after about 12 hrs of it. I am some how getting better. Never heard of anything that would make you sick like I was for just a day. I may not be out of it yet but hopefully. Thanks a million to everyone that replied with a decent comment.

take some immodium or some pepto and wait it out
I never thought of taco bell as actual mexican food, but you seem to have gotten the real mexican experience out of it

My advice would be not to ever, ever eat that crap! Probably the worst of worst of the fast food chains.

Food poisoning usually happens 1-3 days after eating the bad stuff. Also, you will usually here about it in the news. There was something like this happening here in Indy about 6 weeks ago, I caught it after my 19 month old son woke up with his diaper covered in shit, coming out of it and out of his pajammas, really nasty stench on Wed. midnite. Felt fine on Thursday. Woke up Friday really naueseated and diarreha. Got sick on Friday, didn't know which end to put on the toilet for a while (24 hours!). Then sometime Saturday felt 85% normal and stayed that way until about Monday afternoon. Tuesday I read that a bad case of the rotovirus was in the area, comes on suddenly, and a lot of people mistake that for food poisoning. The symptoms were just like I had, and I felt the sickest I have been in 10-15 years. It SUCKED! Then, my wife was sick with it a day after me, and went thru the same thing. Luckily my 4 year old daughter somehow did not get it. Seems this bug is easily transmitted thru fecal contamination (wash your hands every time!) and can live for many hours on hard surfaces. Glad to see your better. Is your car doing a winter sleep now? Here in Indy we are getting our first snowfall accumulation, predicting 2-3 inches and people are panicing, buying all the milk, bread etc. in the grocery.

Acually, the Taco Bell I ate was in Indiana, me and a buddy went to pick up a new snowmobile in MI. I agree, it most likely was not Taco Bell, but what ever virus it was, it was different then anything I have had, definitly not the worst. When I was in Afganistan, I got food poisoning from eating the local food, never been sicker, thought I was acually going to die. Now I feel great, just in time for my Bears and Colts to kick ass. 1 game down, 1 to go.
