680 miles of haulin a$$
to make a long story short i bought fiberglass hood from vfn which is in chicago. left at 7 on wed. morning with no hood on my car then went to gateway to race my car.
Right off the 680 mile trip i ran a 11.91 @114.33 internally stock with a 1.71 60 on nitto 555r 245/50-16
Oops i forgot to let the pressure out. Those tires had 37 psi in then on that run. let the pressure down to 26 psi and ran a new best of 11.899 @114.44 with a 1.686 60
only mods are bolt-ons, 3.73,2800 stall and a finally race weight of 3380lbs
car got 23 mpg up to chicago.........not bad for a daily driver with 128,500 miles
next mods to come are heads & cam :headbang:

damn. exactly what bolt-ons do you have? first time i ran my car all i had was slp loudmouth exhaust with k&n filter on street tires and ran a 14 flat.i have an auto too. Now, i have the slp lid and bbk 80mm throttle body. Just waiting to take it up to the track.

mods are in sig. the best thing you can do for your car is get the stall. alone the 2800 stall got me .5 seconds most people will tell ya to go bigger on the stall.
the lid should get you .1 and the tb might get you 4 hp.
Also don't forget about traction, if you are spinning then look at a set of nittos 555r, they work for me.

Drive through my state with no hood and you'd be stopped in the first 10 miles.
