dream job
so yeah, i was riding down the road and thought outloud "man i wish i new a place that worked on ls motors so i could work or just be around them" and my friend mentions a shop called Hawks, www.hawksthirdgenparts.com. that work on nothing but f-bodys(n the new gto) so i ride out there and pull up and theres like two badass ws6's out there and an SS and like third gens just everywhere mostly wrecked and such. anyways i walk in and talk to the lady and idk what to say so im just like "hey, uh i dont know what to say but like, uh ill come here after school and like sweep and uh clean stuff you dont have to pay me i just really really wanna be around this stuff because i love these cars. It can even help me in school for a job experience" so she takes down my info and i leave.
now im thinking man there's no way they're calling me back.
the next day the owner calls me and tells me to come in and talk to him.
so i go in about to scream like a little girl all that i know about ls motors (just what ive learned from here in the past year or so)just outta pure excitement. and he tells me to come back monday whenever i get outta school, bring my own tools and he'll "let you take apart cars and really find out how they work and what you want we'll keep and dont like we'll smash with the car, and i guess you'll just be doing this till you get outta school"
so yeah wow im going to be working on f-bodys for 9 months. wow. i start monday. i mean talk about just luck and shit like that wow.

Gomango- 06 Dodge Charger Daytona
That's awesome, good for you. Being around the pros to learn how they're doing it is one of the best ways to learn, in my opinion. That's how I learned to build and take apart jeeps
