Replace dead alternator with 140 amp bad boy, gain 3.5 volts (old one hung at 11 volts), runs better and peppier. Accelerate mildly in 6th on the highway and someone apparently installed a 4000 rpm stall converter in it while it was on jack stands... Fucking luck sucks for me and my dad. Woe is me.
And my chevy (his backup car) finally shit the improperly installed intake gaskets last week. Have to replace those tomorrow. And my gmc gets up to 2100 rpm foot braking. Can't be healthy

I'd have that thing up in a few hours with a q-jet and manifold from the junkyard. Clutch and install costs more
