Blue- 2001 Camaro SS Convert
Window is leaking pretty bad:( How can I adjust? Convertible
I have a 2000 Camaro SS ragtop and the window is leaking around the top between the gasket and the glass.
I just replaced the regulator and motor as the windows was not working and still having the same leaking issue.
It feels tight around the gasket, so I am not sure how it is leaking.
Are there any step by step procedures? How do I tell if it is rolling up all the way that it should? How do I know how much to tilt the window in and out, and how much should I tilt front to back? (how do I adjust this?)
There is a "hook" towards the front that it seems the window should engage when topping out, yet my window almost missed this hook, I can see how to raise/lower the hook, but not how to set its depth, or how to move the window closer to it.
Also, I hope adjusting will take care of the fact that with the new reg, I cannot close the window unless I press against the interior door panel or have the door open. Is it binding? Not that I can hear or tell, but it must be.
Thanks!
Bruce

Did you ever figure it out? I have a convertible but no issues with leaks. Then again I don't/can't drive mine in the rain.

No...
I am now thinking it might not be the windows (or maybe even RAIN!)
It has been dry for the last week or so and it still seems to be getting wetter in the floor! I was only the driver side I thought, but it also seems to be on the passager side! (No, top is not left down during rain -or anytime i am not in it!).

I think the heater core is on that side. Does it smell like anti-freeze?
