Trying to remove the sway bar to install a new one
I am in the middle of replacing the struts and the sway bar. Ran into huge rust issues. So having to replace more parts. But the main thing is the sway bar. I have taken out the links and removed all the bolts that hold it to the frame. But on the drivers side the mount is different then the right side. I can't seem to get it loose. Any ideas? Oh yeah...1998 Z28

There is a bracket that bolts to the body that sandwiches the sway bar bushing bracket. You simply need to remove two additional bolts on the driver side that are up behind the alternator splash shield. With the bolts removed, you can then pull off that bracket and remove the sway bar bushing bracket.
