slipping while in OD
well i think its about that time to look into a new tranny....it started slipping when in OD. I lose all power and it is almost like it is stuck in neutral it catches a very little bit every now and then but it is deff going.
ive been thinking about going with a vengeance racing stage IV or a peformabuilt, anyone have any experience with them/it which is better or any tipsLast edited by Z28boy2000; 09-23-2009 at 10:31 AM.

with that kind of power a good built 4l60e with high preformance sunshell, bands, clutches, sero, stall and a nice shift kit in it would fit the bill just right.

I went with the performa built stage 2 So far I like it its better than my stock one. Also I think centurytransmission had one with the "beast" and Stronger shaft that held up to 800hp but im not sure on torque. Performa built has a stage 3 that will take anything you can throw at it is what they say. So I'm not sure. I have Custom short ram, 3.73 gears stock rear, and the performabuilt tranny with 3000 stall and I ran a 12.6 so its like 8 tenths faster.
