newbie needs help with lifter noise!

I have an 02 SS and since day one (I ordered it new) the lifters chatter like crazy for the first 3-4 minutes when I crank up. This is especially noticable when it is cold outside.

I reported it to the dealer since new, and everytime I get an oil change, etc... Anybody had this problem or thoughts on how to resolve it?

Chatter or ticking?? If its ticking..most LS1's tick when its cold, and at start up.....

I guess it is more of a ticking noise per lifter, but with several ticketing, it is more like chatter. Does anyone else have this problem?

Naw , ain't none of us had that problem ! Your's must be the only one . Just turn your monsoon up a little. Run hard as you want. The only way you'll blow anything is if you over rev it.
