can a 04+ F-150 V6 pull car/trailer??
well need a new winter car and thinking of going this route. will it work?

=They still make the 300 straight six? that Was a strong motor, It'd pull it No doubt, but as far as the "?", Yes a v6 will pull it, maybe not fast and struggle up BIG hills but it'll do it.

Yeah it will but it will be a strugling. My buddy use to have a v-6 f150 5speed can't remember the year but it was proabably at a 99-00. We use to tow a decent size boat around but like already stated it struggled. Every hill we came to we would have to downshift. Starting on a hill/boat ramp was a bitch.

I have a V6 5 speed 00 F150... check out www.v6f150.com
And the 5 speed has a 3500 pound town limit, the auto v6 is rated @ 5000 with tow package. The motor is a stroke 3.8 mustange engine. its 4.2 liters

thats the anwere i was looking for, and thanks everyone.
its not like like im looking at just v6's its just the over winter budget beater and want something new that will last. +v6 is a lil better with these normal 3.15 gas.
but hey beats a saturn that leaks 2 quarts a week

im a chevy guy for a reason....but a v6 MPFI will get better gas mileage....i got to drive one for a few wks and it got damn good mpg. i had a base model v6 single cab longbed(dad was renting it). Ill stick to my chevys though.....that ford got good gas mileage........but....meh

well i love ford trucks , just trucks, think thee 04+ are the best IMO
but honestly the new chevys and gmcs are looking KILLER. if i didnt get the rebates on car buys i might get one
