G35 caught me off guard
I was on the way to the Doc's office this morning really hoping that he wasn't going to tell me I need surgery on my knee. So I was a little spaced out when I was sitting at a light and an Infinity G35 pulled up next to me.
The light turned green and the G35 punched it to try to get ahead of me because 500 feet after the intersection his lane came to an end. Well, I hadn't expected it but reacted quickly. I hadn't launched my car because I didn't expect a race, but when I stood on it I ended up spinning the tires through the entire intersection. I caught up to him by the top of first. He had his window wide open, so he got an ear full of tire screach when I hit second with the tires by his door. The look on his face was priceless.
It was nice to get my mind on something else for a minute or so.

NO!!!
No cartilage (sp) or meniscus (sp) damage!
Doc said I have Ileotibial Band Syndrome. In layman's terms: There's a band of muscle that runs from the side of your hip to the outside of your knee where it connects. I've been working out (running, playing sports, minor weight training) for some time but have never been taught to stretch that muscle. So it has gotten really tight and pulls on the side of the knee creating a very painful burning and throbbing sensation on the side and through the middle of the knee.
Not exerting that muscle for a couple months, while doing some new stretches and massaging it, I'll be fine.
I am so relieved! My dad has had three ortho's on the same knee and will never fully recover.

That was a relief. I thought you were going to say he beat you, and there would be some idiot on a G35 forum talking about it making all the other idiots on the g35 forum think they have fast cars.
Good news on the knee too.

Navy Blue Metallic- 2001 WS6 Prod #115
Lol... Don't Sleep On Those G35's... I Have Both...a 2001 Ws6 6-speed With All The Mods, Which Is My "show Car" And Pride And Joy With Only 3,484 Miles.... And A 2006 G35 Coupe 6-speed, Which Is My All Weather Warrior...
Now Don't Get Me Wrong Here... Nothing Can Compromise Or Replace Raw American V8 Power....escpecially Highly Modified Ones....but A Real Good Driver Behind A G35 Can Catch You Sleeping If Your Not Careful!
Thanks For Your Time,
Chris
P.s. Good Luck With That Knee!!!
