2016 Camaro SS - Summit- 2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM
325km/hr = 201.94 mph roughly
Pretty damn fast, but I would be pissed if I paid that much money and it didn't top 200

The base model does, the z06 and zr1 do not. And whats the matter with leaf springs if they work? The vette still out handles any car in its price range on the bigger tracks and will beat many cars with a much higher price. Did you know that the ls1 and the other lsx engines still use pushrods? Did you know the guys from topgear consider that to be old technology yet we still produce big hp numbers, better powerbands than smaller higher reving engines and get better gas mileage than any other 600+hp car.
I love top gear don't get me wrong, the show and the hosts are great, funny and they say silly shit. But I learned long ago that there opinion is just that... opinion and they are quite bias.
I remember an episode when they were dyno testing some cars, they were all freaking out saying I can't believe this brand new car is only making 470hp when it is rated at 540hp. Someone forgot to tell them that dynos measure power at the wheels and factory hp numbers are stated as power at the crank. You have to factor in drivetrain loss. They never realized there mistake or corrected it.Last edited by Zinergy; 07-20-2012 at 12:49 PM.

Burple- 1966 427 Cobra Replica
The Z06 and ZR1 both use transverse mounted leaf springs. The ZR1 gets magneto shocks stock. Magneto shocks are optional on the Z06.

Still I wish the zl1 had more hp then the gt 500, that way it could have spanked it on the drag strip
