Yep, because it is a super car. 135,000 dollars combined with its performance definately puts it in super car world.

    2016 Camaro SS - Summit
    2001 Trans Am WS6 - NBM

    325km/hr = 201.94 mph roughly

Pretty damn fast, but I would be pissed if I paid that much money and it didn't top 200

I agree but 135k is cheap for a super car. IMHO

Nissan GTR's are knocking on the door of 100K, and they can't hit 200.

    2012 Chevrolet Corvette Prices Rise

Not very close to a 135K sticker price.

Yep. Either Nissan needs to drop prices or raise performance to compete, IMO. I like the styling ok'ish, but I'd take a ZR1, or even a ZL1 over a GTR any day.

The base model does, the z06 and zr1 do not. And whats the matter with leaf springs if they work? The vette still out handles any car in its price range on the bigger tracks and will beat many cars with a much higher price. Did you know that the ls1 and the other lsx engines still use pushrods? Did you know the guys from topgear consider that to be old technology yet we still produce big hp numbers, better powerbands than smaller higher reving engines and get better gas mileage than any other 600+hp car.

I love top gear don't get me wrong, the show and the hosts are great, funny and they say silly shit. But I learned long ago that there opinion is just that... opinion and they are quite bias.

I remember an episode when they were dyno testing some cars, they were all freaking out saying I can't believe this brand new car is only making 470hp when it is rated at 540hp. Someone forgot to tell them that dynos measure power at the wheels and factory hp numbers are stated as power at the crank. You have to factor in drivetrain loss. They never realized there mistake or corrected it.

O not dogging pushrods or leave springs just didn't realize that the vettes used them still. I love the show lol just asking to see what others thought.. what suspension does the ZR use?

The Z06 and ZR1 both use transverse mounted leaf springs. The ZR1 gets magneto shocks stock. Magneto shocks are optional on the Z06.

Zr1 an ZL1 are GM's finest creations, just wish they was a bit more affordable lol. But I guess its ok to dream.

Still I wish the zl1 had more hp then the gt 500, that way it could have spanked it on the drag strip
