Black- 2000 T/A Firehawk
2000 T/A Firehawk M6 fair condition - Northern VA - $13,500obo
Time has come to get rid of my LS1, I'm looking to go back to school, and frankly can't afford to have it around anymore. I bought it last year on July 2nd from a guy in Pennsylvania. I picked the car up with 37k miles last year, but because I commute up north to work everyday, the car has racked up miles here up until recently, sittin with 62k. It has a few cosmetic flaws in it, with scratches on the fender and back bumper, as well as some paint missing from the door. To sum up where it came from, I fell asleep about 8:30 at night on my way home from a 14 hour workday (72 hour workweek) a few months ago, and made contact with a mailbox. The other thing wrong with the car is that it has trouble getting into reverse sometimes, whereas I just put the car in first and roll it forward just a tad and then back up, works everytime, my only assumption is that it needs a synchro replacement. I have pictures available to look at on the link to my ole' myspace page, cause I didn't know how to post them on here I made a few upgrades to the car when I bought it, put a set of edelbrock shorty headers on it, keeping the factory Y w/ the cats because of emissions where I'm located. I also bought and installed the SLP Loudmouth along with the intake, I like it because it's not so raspy and has a good tone, but still gets right loud at WOT Overall, the car really isn't in that bad of shape, it just needs a little work here and there. With me going back to college, I really can't afford to keep on dumping money into this thing. Just click on the link for some pictures and check it out, leme know what you think. I will entertain all offers, so if you're serious just send me a PM and we can talk, I'm located about 40 miles south of D.C. Oh yah, almost forgot if you want pictures taken of any other shots or angles just leme know, I took these with a cell phone thats why they're so crappy. The VIN# is 2G2FV22G0Y2119988. You can call SLP at (732) 349-2109 M-F 8:300am-5pm EST and they'll tell you it's a real breed #174, so it's notta fakie

Black- 2000 T/A Firehawk
I'd be willing to check it out, send some pictures of it with some detail and background on how long you've had it, how it has performed since you've owned it, what have you replaced, is there any damage or anything mechanically that needs to be fixed?? I can send you some other pictures of the firehawk if you'd like, just let me know man. It's a helluva trip to alabama, but I am rather interested.

Finally got my new door and sideskirts in and having them painted next week, will have some pictures up by tomorrow of the way it sits now. Have a bunch of aftermarket and stock parts as well, if anyone is interested. They can either go with the car or sell them seperate.

Black- 2000 T/A Firehawk
Well, here's an update on the car if anyone is interested. Went to grab the keys to go start it up one morning 2 weeks ago, got in the car and turned it on, to hear immediate engine noise. I let the car reach operating temperature, and decided to drive it around the block for the heck of it, I was too irritated to care at this point. Upon cold start up the oil pressure is at 40lbs or so, gradually decreasing to 20-25lbs once operating temperature is reached. It doesn't overheat, however you can smell the gas/oil mixture if you let the car just sit there. It doesn't smoke anything, there's no real power loss, and the gas mileage has not been affected by this.
However, I have given up on fixing this thing completely, and will now entertain the best offer I see. Only serious inquiries please, and will entertain any reasonable offer. My cell # is (540) 429-5347, you can reach me at this number primarily anytime day or night, just not too late. Take care

In all seriousness, send me some pics along with the magic number to take it home. Has it developed any other issues?

Don't even bother with this one guys I wanted to get this car a while ago, talked to the guy and told him I was coming down to look at it. He told me how much he wanted, so I got the money and went down to get it and when I got there he never answered his phone or called me back!
