BBK headers
so... put on the BBK off road header/y from lmperformance fit was pretty good, they went in easy, but i did have to pound the passenger side floor up a little for them to not hit the floorpan. install was a breeze, they almost fell into place. no leaks, quality looked pretty good on install, pretty decent setup for under 500.
i did get two cats welded on, which was a pain in the ass due to clearance issues.
install was over the winter and ive put about 6k on the car since then with no issues, ground clearance is great, the "valiance?" directing air to the radiator hangs just a bit lower than the exhaust.Last edited by V8MUSCLE; 06-25-2010 at 05:01 AM.

Sounds like if anything they tuck up real close to the floorpan which also means they dont hang up on bumps, etc. Did you get the chrome or ceramic coated (which I hear is real nice-better than most!) and how is said finish holding up?

Todd

im looking into getting those, is anything else needed for the install? Gaskets, bolts, clamps, o2 extensions? they would be going on my daily driver so when i go to put them on id like to increase the odds it will be a one and done install. Thanks!

you should get new gaskets and bolts. dont use the paper gaskets they give you, they suck. i got the catless ones, you are probably gonna need cats unless you have someone to pass it for ya. get the 13111 o2 sensors from advanced or wherever, they are the ones for corvettes. some people have trouble with the o2 extensions.

I have the BKK headers and ORY. Went in easily with out any problems. I also get the passenger floor pan smack. Nothing a small amount of grinding on wouldn't fix. This is my 2nd year of them on and the finish looks great still. Only real problem I had was getting them to line up with the slp lm2. The ORY needed to be about 4 inches longer. I did get o2 extensions as well.
