Through the Ditch
Hey all, I just completed my WS7 clutch and Pro 5.0 install (which work great by the way) and created an even worse problem for myself. While driving the car into work to put some miles on the clutch, I ran into a rainstorm and hyroplaned through a ditch. I guess I should have checked the weather beforehand. Anyways. The front passenger side pushed in pretty good. When looking at the hood, you can see a gap on the driver side fender gap and behind the headlight. The hood shifted to the left into the left headlight a little. The left fender is clearly bowed out and pushed into the door enough that it pops when the door opens. I want to know if there is a site that provides a diagram so I can see how everything is connected together- fenders, front clip, frame, hood mount. Just kinda wanting to know what kinda damage Im looking at here. It makes me sick to my stomach to look at her. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

If no ins. then start takin stuff off, that stuff can shift pretty good and be corrected pretty easy if the frame didnt get tweeked. How hard did you hit is really the question.
GMPP LS6 crate motor,racetronix,Wilwood 6 piston,HID's,200mph speedo,full dynomat, GY F1's,17" Y2K, Alpine audio upgrade,3" ele cutout, LT's, catted-Y, full suspension

Im not sure if i want to do that quite yet. If the damage is low enough, I may pay out of pocket. I just dont want my insurance to go up. I havent had a claim in about five years. I just dont know if I want to risk it. I have three vehicles, two of which are full coverage. Of course i have full coverage on the TA. Im waiting for my buddy to come back from Vegas. He works at a body shop, and I think he could tell me how much this will set me back. I was wanting him to do a little paint on it anyway on the side. I guess this just means more money for him.

If you are lucky all you might have done is tweek the bumper, crushing the plasic under it and the crush bumper that holds it all, no way to repair that, it has to be repalced. Also probably snapped the plastic hold downs that attach the outer fenders. again the only way to know its start pulling stuff off.

Doesn't look like you need any new body parts/panels. Could have been much worse. Why not just go to a body shop and get an estimate? They're usually free...
