LT1 LT4 block with ls heads ?? on camshaft, oil pan, opump
I have been looking at the lt4 block as an economical starting point for turbo or supercharger ls buildup .
it looks like it can be done . cranks are the same or will interchange, heads or block will need dowels moved. but what about camshaft? will ls cam install in lt block ? timing chain? oil pump oil pan?
please just trying to find the differences . I should probably be looking at 6 bolt blocks anyway but noticed the ls9 block and now lt4 block have stronger 12mm studs . Plus the fact that the block is rated for pretty good power output.
P.S.I aleady have most of the ls3 parts minus the block to start building
Thank you Paul
