HP myth????
Okay, Heres what Im hearing, The 2002 firebird and 2002 camaro being the last yr they were made are sapposed to be the hottest (fastest) years made so far, My debate is the 1999 Ls1 firebird should be just as fast as the 2002 Ls1 firebird stock same hp right? its the Ls1 no matter what yr it was made, Am I right this is just a myth or am I wrong its the rwhp truth?

Red Tint Jewelcoat- 2008 Trailblazer SS
The 2001 and 2002 models may have a slight HP advantage.
It won't matter much as it should be a drivers race between any two stock (dame tranny) LS1 F-Body's.
98-00 had a basic LS1 intake but a slightly larger cam.
01-02 had an LS6 intake but a slightly less aggressive cam.
Low miles at this point would be my selling point.
If you plan on modding...any year can be made fast.2008 Trailblazer SS
Yank PTB3600, Kooks 1 7/8" LT's, 4" intake, E-fans, Magnaflow, Sonnax kit, tranny cooler, tune.
Lowered, HID's, tinted.

Exhaust manifolds were also better on 01 up.
