But, rushing her, taking her down to the ground in the manner he did and then what looks like to be punching her about the head is over kill!

He could have just as easily gave her a good shove back into her cell that would have knocked her on her ass and slammed the door shut.

She was already in a cell. She had no weapons. Just a smart ass mouth.

But if I do have a daughter I will almost guarantee she will never be in that position because I would never fail her as a parent in that way. My qualifications to "judge overkill" is the fact that two full grown men did not need to tackle a little out of control girl who was in no way able to cause either of them physical harm.

A bit of self control would have gone a long way and I'm betting that by now the cop would agree as well as this is not going to turn out well for him when it's over.
