You can set the fan temps via HPTuners or any other tuner program. You can add a qt of "water wetter" from redline. You can install a manual fan switch from slp.

My car ran hot the other day.....I'm taking it in to get looked at. Can't they set the thermastat to 160 instead of 190 or what ever it is right now.

I think so...it ran hot through the drive throu at mcD's.....never did that before.....i didn't like it one bit.

A thermostat only has one setting. You have to remove the old and install a new one to change it. I definitely recommend the 160 degree thermostat. Also possible your radiator is getting clogged. But being in Fla, you should look to run cooler. Like I mention earlier, set the fans to come on earlier too.
