Why? What's wrong with a one-piece aluminum a-arm/upper balljoint combo, an un-replaceable balljoint, where the only thing holding the balljoint into its socket is some plastic?

The years that received the recall notice. I think it was 01-03ish range.
The WJ Grand Cherokees had their heated seats recalled 2 seperate times. Yes the repair was recalled for the same fire concern as the original recall
