Sandman - Well done with the Sparco harness's , I have a 4 point cam-lock harness as well and LOVE IT. The most comfortable one out there in my opinion, and no cute pads needed with them!!

Here is a custom grille i made from a billet grille i bought off of ebay. I bought the emblem from the dealership cause i couldnt find the stock one off ebay. The dealership charged me $36 bucks for the bowtie and the "Z28" together! But it came out really good i think. The hardest part was finding the right glue to hold the emblem on, cause the emblem has to be slightly bent before it will lay flat. I ended up using "Instant Krazy Glue" and it works wonders!

    Thumbs up nicely done

Good work bud, I think this grill looks better than the marketed billet grill. I like how it is spaced apart more, rather than really close together.

Thanks Chevypowr! Yeah i agree with you. When i get my car repainted (cause the paint is peeling off in places) Im going to have them paint it black behind the grille.

That would be an easy do-it-yourselfer. If you have a wal-mart near by, stop in the auto spray paint section, Pick up the sandpaper kits they have in that section, which will usually have 3 dif. grits - medium, smooth and really smooth final step. I would prob. just get a Matte black colored spray paint, and a matte clearcoat spray. Tape off all surounding areas that you do not want painted, apply a few light coats of the black matte spray, let stand for 1 hour then apply several light coats of the matte clearcoat. This way the backround wont have a glossy finish and the grill itself will stand out.

I went through those steps while install in

There actually is a little problem with the fitment of this hood. It opens and closes fine and looks like it is perfectly fitted to the rest of the car... but when i try to open the headlights, they dont open all the way! The edge of the headlight gets pushed against the hood so I have to open the hood everytime i turn on the lights! This really sucks, i'm bringing it back to the shop I had install it to have them adjust the hood or headlights.

Where did you get those chrome or billet grills or whatever for two parts of the hood and the side of the car, right next to the Trans Am sticker? Also, was the bird on the front license plate painted like that? or was it bought and put on there?

First thing is that the trans am emblem is not a sticker, it is made out of billet and replaced the factory emblem. The hood and fender vents and the billet bird on the front, i got off of ebay from muffinbuster on ebay. The inserts are made from 20GA stainless. Hope this helps man i love mine.

there is quite a bit of play with those headlights... open the hood and there is 2 bolts attaching the headlight bracket to the rad support or whatever that piece is. If you loosen up those bolts you can play with the gap between the hood and the headlights.
