On a lower end note on the subject of cars, sold one of my flow 40's to a nub I know with an i6 jeep. "sure dude, it'll sound awesome.."

Not really, original 40 series. Not super or delta flow. Thing has three cats I believe and a straw for a manifold. 8 something to one compression

Ah. I see. I get the deltas confused with other Flowmasters.

I hate flowmasters.. Which is why they are off and one is sold. I laughed when I heard a kid with his truck vibrating from drone driving past me at the gas station today

Flows sound good on some vehicles. Not so much on others.

What do they sound good on? My truck had the least flowmaster like tone I had ever heard with them, still didn't like em

lol, oil pan raped.
Porsches level? WTF? 1mm hp is like space shuttle level man
The guy who sold me my IROC told me it had flowmasters. I never gave enough of a fuck to find out actually what is installed on it, be it flowmasters, the stock exhaust, or something completely different, but it sure does sound nice(As far as I remember. Think it's been more than a year since it ran).

My high school friend had an IROC(I think 87) and it had a Flowmaster on it with the 17" IROC wheels. White, like yours. Had a nice low rumble at idle, but when the gas was given, it roared. Her brother had an 89 H/C/I/LT GTA with a Flowmaster and it sounded evil at idle with the cam lope.

Mine does it all the time on decel. I love passing by the bus terminals on rainy days and watching folks look up at the sky like "AWWW...NOT NOW!!!" and then I roll by and they give me this-->

Yes. I am totally in love with that sound those cars make which is the big reason why I want one, it's so awesome. Gotta love it. Oh, and the 4V's in the Cobra's tend to sound a bit raspier sounding when compared to the 2V's in the GT, which is maybe what led to the popping sound you heard on deacceleration. Cobra's sound 10x better than GT's IMO, that raspiness those cars make with a nice catback/midpipe combo is awesome to me. Best sound in the world.
