might not be a track car, kinda looks like the battery has been relocated to the back as well without a cut off switch or a barrier between the battery in the back and the passenger compartment

Yeah because lots of people buy slicks and skinnies for their street car. Also, unless I'm just not seeing it, how many people remove the power steering in their street or autocross car? And if the battery is in a battery box, or is a dry cell, he's ok there. And I'm pretty sure a cutoff switch isnt needed until 9s or so, but I'm not exactly sure. At most tracks you need a cage long before 9s.

true bar needed at 11.49 and cage not long after that, i'll have to doulbe check the rule but i thought even if it was in a box it still required a rear bulkhead i dunno tho, drycell doesnt tho you're right, you're right on with the cut off switch. didnt notice the power steering missing tho.

Or could be this is as far as it has come to this point. Engine has been together for about 7 weeks and was cramming to get everything that is done before the Fbodygathering. Now that it has come and went I will finish it up.

a 6 point roll bar can be used with a factory interior untill 9.99 is hit. that way you don't have to chop up the dash board atleast. also you have to ask yourself. with factory z06's running in the 10's and 11's with no safty equipment ,does that mean NHRA has to address this and alter the rules or will GM have to look at installing a factory roll bar setup?

id guess that theyl just be dicks and if gm ever makes a car that is fast enough to require a rill bar ull have to install one urselfe if u want to run at the track. otherwise stick to the street i guess

i in no way ment to incenuate that lt1s arent good engines, their still sbcs, in fact i like lt1s alot... i just like tpis better caus their more old school and u can make em fast for cheap.

I roasted those tires off, and I love the way my car looks even better sitting on my new 255/50-16 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport tires. On an 8-inch wide wheel, 255s are actually noticeably fatter compared to the stock 245s (or 235s on lesser models). Great summer tire for the $ too, by the way.
