My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
after the reocurring feeling of failure and demise of life recedes...i'll be on more. Until then i need to kinda gather myself up; i've been taking this pretty hard, like losing a family member. Really don't want to buy another ws.6 b/c honestly it just won't be my car. For now I'm going to save up for a new camaro; until then, i'll try to take up a hobby of some sort; something that will help me get over this. I'm thinking about pickin up the bass-guitar again, maybe doing some adjuct faculty work with design majors...we'll see what transpires. Michelle was really upset that it was totalled-she hoped I got it back as much as I wanted it; but the bright side is I'm not going to be in debt like I was; there's a shiney side to everything.

not the best get-out-of -debt solution though.
it does suck for the loss of your car, man. it's never good times when that happens. main thing is you are not injured/hurt. wish you the best. you had a really great car, be proud of that. no need to beat yourself up over it. accidents happen. chin up!

Sorry about the car man
Would you know what the engine and tranny would be worth?

That is a great idea. I am planning to purchase the second production year as well.
I know what the hobby should be and so do you.
To complete the project that has to remain unmentioned atm.
I plan to be part owner/admin/boss in case you did not know...
Get 'er done Hoss!

wow I was floored, I didn't even know, I just saw your avatar change and I say to myself it has to be a joke?! I am so sorry for your loss bud. save the exhaust, headers, Y and all you can to put it on a new TA, hey you can get a stock on 50-60k miles with $10-11k now. not a bad deal. it will take some time for you to recover out of this. stay busy and in good company as when you're alone your mind will drift back to the car...your ride was a sweet looking one... sorry mate

All Black- 83, 87, 02 All WS6 T/As
Would you rather them not take their time, get it back to you in a couple days and have it blow up worse right away? I'd wait and get it done right.....not right now.

yeah it's good to do it right i guess, but when you don't have a daily driver and rely on the spouse's car for commute and try to work time scheduling conflicts and shit for 2.5 months, it becomes a headache, but once you get the car back or get a new one you forget about all this drama in a few weeks...

I just remembered Ed's engine took a shit too I think in Dec or January, just about everybody on ls1.com has a near crash or crash experience, it does suck when you are careful and good driver but the road is mercyless. i do push the car a bit more like in the movie theater's lots or 3-4 lanes roads, no traffic... keep up your chin Jaison! it could happen to any of us...
