Over spring break on my way home from Chicago this white truck, which was like a 1500 Chevy was driving like an asshole. anyhow I think I was in Indianapolis at the time and he kept weaving in and out cutting me off many times so I got pissed and down shifted and got around his ass next thing you know is I look in my rear view and see the red and blues, so I'm still going but watching because they're not directly behind me. They were like 5 cars back in almost bumper to bumper traffic. Anyhow I look back again and it was a ford taurus which was pulling that white truck over.

I hate those unmarked police cars, they're a big suprise. When I went through Nashville I saw many tinted out unmarked police cars which had lots of people pulled over. They just looked like regular cars.

Back in highschool I was on my way to school one morning. I was going like 75 in a 60, which to me was no big deal at the time. Country roads and I've never seen a cop in the morning on that road. There are lots of steep hills but the road is straight. Then some 1500 Chevy blows by me probably going 90-95. I was like jeez someones in a hurry, and I kept going 75. About 1 minute or so later i look in my mirror and theres a cop right on my tail and I about crap my pants and I'm about to u pull over cuz I'm obviously speeding and he just blows past me. About a mile or so later I see the pick up pulled over. I did one of these...

Best get away story, huh? Well this was like 2 decades ago but it was still cool. about 15 cars were hanging out on Santa Fe just north of Del Amo (all the old scholl street racers from LA will know the place). Most of us were just hanging, waiting for a big $$$ trailer car race later that night. Some guys wer cruising up and down, some racing, but it was mostly dead. A Carson Sheriff cruises thru using the loud speaker, "Come on out. We know you're here." We scramble for our cars. I happen to be in the lead. I take a left at Del Amo and go under the 710 freeway. On the north east corner at the next light is a 7-11. We jam the parking lot and a question is asked, "What do we do now?" I calmly reply, "We go into the store. The cops can't molest us if were patrons." So like 20 of us jam the store. The proprieter had a big smile on his face. The cops turned into the lot and I heard one of them say, "Damn! Now what do we do?" Turns out since we hadn't done anything more than hang out in an industrial area so they couldn't do anything. We all went different ways after agreeing on a place to meet later.

Another one (I didn't walk but I got off light). I forget the name of the street but it parallels the 91. I cruise thru and see a few cars parked. I throw a rev and go to the end of the block and turn around. Some guy in a mid-80's El Camino comes out on the street. I ask him if he wants to race. He sez yes, we agree on a price, lock it up with a 3rd party and do burnouts. We see oncoming headlights and decide for them to pass before continuing. Turns out it's a Carson Sheriff car. He passes us going the other way shining his light into each car. I'm set up in the left hand lane, the other guy is in the right hand lane (2 lanes each way with a median). The cop pulls a u-turn. I motor away at barely an idle and the other guy turns into the parking lot. The cop hits the lights and I pull over. Cop comes up to the window and sez, "I know you 2 were going to race. I saw the smoke from the burnouts but I didn't see you race. I called this in as a stop so I can't let you go with nothing. Let's see. I know - DOUBLE PARKING!" He and I both snickered and then busted out laughing after he said that. So I didn't get away, but it didn't really cost me anything cuz it was like a $35 fine. Oh, and the 3rd party stayed around and gave me my $$$ back. Me and the other guy both knew him but we didn't know each other.

I was in hurry...it was about 11:30pm and I was going about 85 in a 55 divided 4 lane highway going up a large hill and gradual curve... I saw the state trooper almost immediately as he came around and down the curve luckily there was a gaurd rail splitting the the four lanes... I watched him brake in my rearview then pull a U-turn as soon as he could... I hammered it up to at least 120... and I knew the road somewhat and knew there were a few access roads for me to duck off on... I was out of sight and slammed on the brakes and hit a left turn lane and flew down an access road back into some woods... I saw him fly down the highway with his lights goin... I found a small neighborhood and parked in a driveway that wasnt visible from the road... I sat there for 10 minutes or so... then decided it was probably clear seeing as how i was only about 2 minutes from where i was going... I turned off my fog lights and proceeded back out onto the highway... no more than 1/8 of a mile down the road comes the trooper headed back the other way... He calmly proceeded by and went on his merry way... I think the only thing that saved me was that my car was black and my fog lights were off to make it look just different enough... Ha

In Ill a brand new G6 GT a couple years ago i was making a 30 min daily commute from range to hotel. day one 70, day 2 80.. after day 3 it was how fast can i get there ( i'm a WV boy) this flat land stuff i can see teh world why not push it... i ran my car at about 120 for 3 miles or so the 4th day and on the 5th i'm crusing at about a buck when i pass some friends and a cop is going the other way... i run it to 110 and hit my exit less than a mile away... as i'm driving down the side road i see the cop blaze the road i was just on... wewh! luckily i was so close i parked in a valley under some trees in a black car so i couldn't be seen cruising by.

once i was going 35 in a 25 cop flies up on my ass... i pull over and he goes around apparently an ATV was doing donuts in the highschool yard... love that moron.

I have lots of reasons to hate cops but i do it on a one by one basis, being a firearms and martial arts instructor lots of friends are cops. I have gotten away with speeding a lot in my life. but it's the stupid shit that they catch or pin on you. One asshat pulls me over swears i'm doing 45 in a 25.... ( no way i t was possible) but offers to not give me any points if i pay up within 5 days. ... then another one had just done the same less than 3 months before after i had driven all night and had the cruise set. for some reason the speed limit dropped to 55 from 65 and he nailed me for it... an un marked jeep cherokee at that time.

Best run away i have ever done was a cop starts tail gating me.. won't go around i slow down to 45 in a 55 motion him around ( not knowing it was a cop) wouldn't go.. lights right on my ass... so as soon as we go around a sharp turn i floor it. as i see his lights sweeping around i go back ot 55.. i repeat this maybe 5-7 times on my way home. once i get about 100 yards on him i open it up fast as i can take the road. pull into my drive lights off. and he screams by about 20 seconds later.

stupid. but it was a deserted road for the most part.

how many people would like to do a burnout around a cop and then get chased and get away clean? it would be an amazing feeling but a lot is at risk. but to actually do it u have to let go of fear and forget about the bad otherwise u cant do it. its easier to let go of fear when u NEED to but to do it randomly for no reason takes balls.

I had a 90 M3 about 3 years ago. Me and a couple friends roll up to a 7-11, and there are 3 cop cars sitting there. The cops are literally out of thier cars, eating donuts and drinking coffee. It was perfectly classic. So we get some beer, get back in the car, and I ask my friends if they want to have a lil fun. One said yes, the other said no. There was one of those fake islands (two double yellow lines) and it was illegal to make a left turn out of the parking lot. So I turn on my right blinker, wait a second, redline, drop the clutch, and fishtail half way down the street while making an illegal left hand turn. I only had to go about half a block away, since my friend lived in an apartment down the street. I hauled ass and pulled in to the complex, park next to a van, and waited. About 20 seconds later, all three cop cars come raging down the street w/ sirens blaring and pass us right up. It was the greatest stunt Ive pulled yet Oh, and of course i was runnin with no lights on at night

Another time in the BMW, im cruising on the freeway at ~120. I just changed freeways, and I was on a long downhill stretch. Im in the number one late, and waaay back, probably about a mile back, i see blue and red in my lane. He was obviously after me. There was an offramp coming up, so i kill the lights, swerve over, and hit one of those circle off ramps that you are supposed to do 25 on. I was doing 80 when i came up on it. I ran the redlight at the end of the off ramp, and I could see the cop was about to get off the freeway. Luckily I knew the area, took a bunch of side streets, hopped on a different freeway, and just took a different route to where I was going. The end

racing my girl down magnolia street in garden grove ca...we left the light hard and both our cars are catless so me made on hell of a roar going through the intersection, right behind 7-11 there was a cop hiding in the dark and we blasted right by him...he pulled me over and read me the riot act, BUT turns out he happend to know my boss (the owner of santa ana speed) and let me and my girl go with a front lic plate tickt and a tint tick....that was my one lucky experience..not counting on that ever happening again

my ONE and ONLY get away story.

Okay, first off not as bad as it sounds. I was just cruisin from downtown Hammond after picking up a bite to eat and going home. at the light heading out of downtown I start going and all of a sudden some black sedan blows by me (some mazda or nissan or toyota, I don't know) About 1 mile after that is another light that has about 1/2 mile of nothing after it until it opens up after a curve into more businesses. So this tool is sitting at the light back from the line and I pull up casually waiting for the red to change. As soon as I come to a full stop it turns green and I accelerate normally. Well the guy next to me thinks I'm racing and he floors it. So here goes the "LS1 mentality" that we all have at one time or another, "Let me show this punk what the LS1 can do. So after he is about 3 carlengths in front of me I stomp it and the LS1 growls to life lurching me forward and chasing that black whateveritwas down. I accelerate past him and put a good 8 lenghts on him then I let off. And of course you know what happened next.....the ricer flyby. So I let him go and we come ot another light with traffic. I end up behind a Budget rental truck and his lane is clear and he takes off. So I'm at cruising speed behind this huge moving truck and what do I see in the rearview mirror? Flashy-flash blue lights coming up around the curve we passed. So my thinking is I'm in the car that was more notable so I need to hide. I quickly get over into the left turn lane and turn into a Burger King and go to hide behind the building. I slowly come around and notice that the coast is clear so I leave the BK in the opposite direction and immediately take another turn to head a completely different direction.

If i recall pulling one knotch on the e-brake makes most GM's headlights go out. I can't remember if markers (including tail) stay on though.

Hey thx...I'm thinking there is a way to disable the brake lights as well? I'm gonna see if my dad could help me out with this. I heard the same thing about the e-brake, i'll give it a try tomorrow.

thats even easier, there is a momentary switch above your brake pedal, all you need to do is wire in a cutoff switch and you're done. by the way, just WHAT do you need all this for anyways, lol
