Pretty lucky season for texis iyam. OU being hobbled up and NU with little offense being joked out of 1 second.
The downfall is that when texis goes up against a premier defense their offense simply didn't have the tools. An undeniable fact this year. There were better choices out there to face Bama. Hell, as much as the big 10 got bagged on this year I bet tOSU would have done better. Texis should have been playing TCU or BSU.

Anyone notice Nebraska was 1 second away from beating Texas, who had McCoy the whole game.

Bama barely sneaks by against a freshman QB.

barely squeaks by? hell,we only attempted 11 passes,played very conservative in the second half because of the freshman qb,not to mention McElroy had 2 cracked ribs!!! he got vs Florida. c'mon man!

Zach Lee postponed surgery on his shoulder and couldn't throw for the 2nd half of the season, and the Nebraska team played a lot better than Bama did.

I rooted for you guys all year to get there and win, and you did, it's just hilarious that I know Nebraska can beat the #1 team.

true that .. I guess we watched the same game ... and take away the 2 touchdowns off of turnovers ...would have been a very different game ...

Your post is exactly why I am a "hater". I don't hate Texas, but can't stand the fans. Poor winners and losers.

And I don't see why you predict that UT will beat OU, since you barely beat us this year with our backup QB, and UT is losing a TON of seniors on both defense and offense including their two biggest weapons, Shipley and McCoy. Don't you watch much college football? Or you just another bandwagoner? UT is due for a rebuilding year, big time. They'll lose 3 games or more next year, mark it down. I'll bet you staright up, name your price. OU takes UT next year. I am not at all impressed with your new freshman QB. I think you will be in for a big disappointment with him. As far as that garbage article, I could care less what espn says, they are wrong most of the time anyway.

we didn't play well,i'll give you that. but we did score 37 points,plus Ingram and Richardson had over 100 yards and 2 touchdowns each,so i disagree with you about Nebraska playing better,at least on offense.

still say those long layoff from end of season till the BCS Bowl Games has a lot to do with how the team plays ...

You don't have to convince us. With or without McCoy, UT would not have been able to beat Alabama. It played out exactly how I knew it would, close game for 3 qtrs, with Bama pulling away in the 4th. Ut was lucky to even been in that game considering their lucky games against both OU and Nebraska. Well, their luck ran out, just like I knew it would.

they said all week leading up to the nc game that Texas was loose and Bama was "business-like" which i took to mean Bama was tight and nervous. i wanted to play Texas the week after the sec championship game when we were still hot and had all the momentum in the world,but after finding out about McElroy's cracked ribs yesterday maybe it was good to have the lay off.but we did win and us Bama fans will be extra obnoxious for a while now.

haha yea we were giving the Bama fans hell yesterday too.. I hate when a game that big MAY have come down to someone getting hurt .. People can say it didnt matter .. but you never know .. so they have a good size crack in their armor ...

I'm a diehard OU fan (and now partime Bama fan). Only cause their fans are cool and the beat Texas for the NC. Let me tell ya tho, OU has enough hardware in their trophy cabinet:

I would post up a pic of my degree, but its at work. And we have 5 Heisman winners and not 3. I bought that before Sam Bradford won his Heisman, don't ask me how much I paid for that pic, those are genuine autographs. The other missing Heisman is Billy Vessels who passed away long time ago.

OU sucked this year. They sucked last year when they went to the big dance with all of their weapons. And you're still a nuthuggin' bandwagon jumper. Just admit it. Alabama beat Texas, with or without Colt McCoy. Alabama is the better team. Texas beat OU and Nebraska. I respect Nebraska for taking them to the end like they did, and the way they did. OU is just a bunch of whining bitches who haven't shown up to a big game lately.

Sounds like YOUR the one with the hate issues. Go back and re-read my posts, nowhere do I call you names such as "nuthugger". No I am not a t-shirt fan. I GRADUATED from OU, and attended my first home game in 1976, over 30 years ago. Wait until Monday and I'll post up my degree if you really want proof. OU will blast UT next year much like my Firebird would blast your redneck built POS camaro right off the strip!!
