PaJeff: I like the UMI stuff I have. The only issue was the corrosion on the metal rod ends. I had to beat the hell out of the lower rear bolt get it out. It was fused to the rod end. I also melted out the teflon lining with my torch...
Joels: I went with Texas Speed LS6 stage 2.5 heads, and the MS3 cam. I wanted the MS4, but the oversized valves in the 2.5 heads would have caused ptv clearance issues. Had to switch from 111 duration to 112 also.

I have fought with one too many frozen bolts in suspension components over the years. Everything I assemble gets a light coat of antiseize to prevent this.

Well the heads were finished yesterday, boxed up and shipped out. Unfortunately they'll be here the day I leave for vacation
I'll snap some hi-res pics when I get my hands on them.

Heads and cam have arrived! I won't bother posting pics of the cam, because they all look alike. Here are the heads. They are P&P LS6's with oversized valves(you can see clearencing one pic). Also have titanium keepers and seats, and dual springs.

Engine is done! I just need to finish up the k member assembly, and wait for the tranny to come back.

Thanks. Shouldn't be too bad now that I know the order everything needs to go in.
