GM vehicle inquiry system

Yeah I'm not sure why I'm still subscribed, other than just to bug you or make you run the vin on your own car

Just about time for GM to wipe out the 02 data isn't it? Pretty much makes this thread obsolete once that happens. Unless the GTO guys or other non fbody people inquire. Few and far between.

Yup... most of the 02's are getting wiped so it's up to the GTO and Vette guys to keep this thread relevant for another couple years. Hopefully it helped people out while it could. Eventually I'll close this thing down, but the nostalgia factor is too high right now!! This thread helped me get my Jr. Mod status!!

And it's been downhill ever since.

talked to joey at slp, birth certificate and window sticker being generated and will be here next week.

Hey it could have been worse... They could have made ME a mod

bad enough I'm on tech team giving horrible advice. "Ls1 is overrated. Take it out and put a good ol 1st gen 350 in it, with a six pack carb. Gas mileage? Pshhh what's that?"

Keep it up mister, if you're spending all your time in an office and on the internet now instead of outside attached to a survey stick, I may put a nomination in. Just to be a dick.

Jack of all trades my friend. I never know where I'll be day to day, field or office. I have a drafting degree and a surveying degree (and almost licensed professional surveyor), and this company likes to use me for both. I also work weekends for a friend doing the same thing. Recommend me, I'll mod during bathroom breaks from my phone

I had a phone app for that on my Android phone...haven't looked for it on my iPhone, had to go back to it when my Samsung broke...

Trying to get info on a '99 Brickyard 400 Camaro
This particular car has an "Authorization for Use of Civic Event License Plate" document from Indiana. The dates are valid from July 99-Oct 99, Issued to a Dick Mc Comb in Speedway Indiana. Would that mean it was used in the actual Brickyard race? Would that affect the value?
Any assistance would be appreciated

Indiana Code 9-18-24

All that means is the previous owner of the vehicle used this vehicle in some sort of promotion and got a civic event license plate to get the vehicle there. Kind of like a temp plate.

I don't even care anymore. There isn't much information left in the system for our cars so I'll pretty much do whatever now. Plus favors for former TJEA members go a long way.
