Phantom Black Metallic- 2004 GTO M6
Well, since my car was built to be a street/strip car by the previous owner and I use it as a DD I have broken things, lol. I wore out my differential last summer on my way home from upstate NY. But I think that was due to the car being raced by the previous owner and I raced it once at the track in upstate NY. I had the radiator/water pump replaced last November. But mine has over 75k on the clock so this is no surprise to me. No regrets whatsoever. And remember, up here in the north we have seasons which can also affect a car.

Remids me of when my mechanic explained to me what happened after he swapped in the 06 diff. He told me I was lucky and then he pointed to a WS6 with a popped 10-bolt and told me if I had an F-Body, I wouldn't have made it home cuz the 10-bolts grenade...and he heard the diff noise from half a block away

My diff was intact, but slowly and surely on its way to leaving me stranded with 3 wheels.
The passengers side c-clip on the axle was wearing into the spider gear, enough so that the axle was shifting side to side enough to let the rotor contact the caliper mount and wear away at the rotor. It was also wearing away at the cross shaft in the diff itself. Pretty ugly fluid change, the magnet on the cover looked like a fuckin' donut it was so big with shavings. I had pics on the old computer but the virus has gotten to that one.

Which is exactly why my 10 bolt now sits on the garage floor!

That was the first problem, mechanically, I had to address with this car, and I'm still not 100% sure its right just because I did it

Yeah, those are all individual pieces of wood that make up the 'trough' of this rollercoaster.

it's on facebook, so idk if it'll work or not.
It's the new ride called "Flying Turs" at Knoebels. It mimics a bobsled and its course, the train runs up the lift,an then is free to take its own course, unrestrained essentially, down the track. They're still working on designing a car for the track though, been a really long process for them.
