I kinda do want the control pannel you put in the ashtray though
and its probably cheaper, and a cleaner look inside too...that way I can wire my QTP to it too....

My buddy has a plate in his ashtray that has a couple of switches in it. I can't remeber where he got it but it looks good. But I still think I would put that guage/switch in the conv top panel and put the cutout switch in the ashtray.
