It was warm and sunny at Carlisle today... until about 4:00 when the sky opened up and the winds hit. Rained on and off for about 45 minutes and resulted in most of the vendors closing up shop.

Found an all original '85 Monte Carlo SS with 53,000 on it for $8,500. Passed all my usual checks with flying colors. Hmmmmmmmm.

I've looked at these and Buick GN's for years... and we did just sell the Harley. They usually are not in any where near this good of condition for the price. I have to look at it again and have my friend check it out too. The seller is local to this area so we'll see what happens.

If my truck started out rattier and I had the fab equipment I guarantee there would be one of the three bop 455's or a cad 500 in my chev. I kind of wish it was more of a pile of shit and less rare wouldn't feel compelled to do a factory paint/interior scheme. Weathered or satin black body with steelies, maybe a shop truck door logo and stuff like that would be way more fun. And I could do it myself

There was this quiet corner around the block from this girl i was seeing. Not much vehicle traffic and some construction. I had to make a right turn from a stop sign there to get to her. There was always dust from the construction on the street...... low speed easy to control off the line slide..... every time.... soo fun.
