.....LOL.... The easiest way is to pull the fuse for the fuel pump under the hood, then run the car til it dies. But yeah, you'll get drenched in fuel otherwise.

45k is too much!! I like to do it at least once a year. You'd be amazed at how much crap gets into the fuel tank. You don't want any clogs to lean out your motor at high revs.
