My life is a- Ben Stiller movie.
big ed doesn't like me enough. he'd scoff at me if i brought the idea up. I had a really good way of doing it too.
-Kitty Members would be charged a $10.00 user fee.
-You have to have atleast 5000 posts to be eligible [that way enough people can get to konw you, your life situations, how much money you make, and this would keep out people you just pay 10$ and use the pot]
- admin will have to receive a rebuild estimate or final bill
-ls1.com would pay for at most 25% of your bill [or less, pending final judgement].
- this could only be used for break downs and badtimes, not for mods-those are controllable events.

like, i wouldn't find myself eligible b/c i make enough money, i have a second car, so i'm not in dire straights. Madseason is in a shittier situation so he'd probably be more eligible. Maybe zboner for a few things too? i dunno, b/c he brought on some of his own issues.

05-23-2006, 12:04 PM #12224you never know when you'll need unexpected funds to feww up with a sale of a vehicle, or if he wants to trade it in for a 2010 firebird

would never work, cause every car would have to remain stock, when people add power adders you have to strengthen the rest of the car, say u add a S/C then you blow the trans or rear??? who's fault is that?? the S/C was a controled event the rear was not but was caused by the S/C
-
05-23-2006, 12:07 PM #12226yea but you could breakdown because you didnt do the mod properly, like using the stock clutch with a twin turbo 1000HP system... it would have to be something only members could vote on

i didn't really go into it, but yeah. like zboner needed to rebuild his engine, but chose to instal a cam that blew his tranny, etc. so he might be eligible based on teh fact that he NEEDED an engine rebuild and they would go off that original, minimum quote of like 1500 or wahtever for an engine rebuild

that's why admin would have to review it and vote, yeah. also, after 5k posts, it's pretty rest assured you're gonna spill the beans and say "damnit it was my fault the clutch failed" and thats when admin would be like "no soup for you"

nope, not a good idea, i would not give anyone money, everything u do is your fault, if we keep the car stock, and never get on it then i can maybe see where your coming from. but the only way your going to break a rear is drag racing it or playing with it. the same goes with engine and trans
-
05-23-2006, 12:17 PM #12231never blew the trans, just couldnt hould the power that was throw at it

Well before the site crashed I had just got back from putting the motor in Kenny Wayne Sheppards Extreme General Lee and working on the 74 Trans Am S/D.
