Red- 2000 camaro
Ghost iin my machine
my car is comming up on 40k miles, I have replaced a driver window motor, beleive it or not I got one from SCHUCKS auto for around 30 or 40 bucks. I replaced it my self. I lived in Alaska when I bought the car, and it got stored for most of the year. I seasonally registered it so I could only drive it about three months out of the year. One thing I seem to go through is plugs. It was pretty bright when I bought it and had about 7000 miles on it. then it seemed to loose something in the low end and so I through a set of plugs at it. What I pulled out was embarrasing. Nippondenso's!!?? I replaced them with Autolite APP605 double platinum's. I took it out and it scared the begeesus out of me when I got on it. Problem is they dont seem to last. I am changing plugs about every one and a half oil changes to keep that bright pep. other than that, I have sense mooved to the lower 48, and the car is trouble free. I am running into a lack of performance problem right now, but I have let this oil change drag on a bit and I think I am being derated because of it by the ECM. I changed plugs right before I shipped the car last september, but if any one out there has this simular prob and has a "plug" fix, let me know. Sorry 98LSGUN, pretty long winded.....
