c6 z06 runs 11s and has 505hp... granted its an exceptional car... but it still should give you the idea

Its taken me a week on my trans am because the threaded part at the top of both struts snapped in two while trying to remove them, so i had to order new struts. On a 58k mile car with very very little wet driving. Not to mention i had to remove the master cylinder just to get to one bolt, which i had to buy a wrench for because of the damn torx. I once wanted a Corvette after my TA, but after working on it compared to my Ford-engineered mustangs, i'll save up for a Terminator.

    :end rant
You know I never had as much problems out of Ford as I do out of Chevys ..... I may have bought the Fords I had in better shape ... But still had to do more work on the Chevy ..

Other than that. If your seeing 600rwhp cars going 12's, more than likely they dont have the suspension to match. A decent driver with 600 rwhp will net you less than 12's in lower altidue setting's. Granted the suspension to match. I have no respect for most supra's. They can claim thier 700 cattle, but those cattle are some crippled ass disease ridden bitch's.
    +1 well said.

Thanks pricks. It was a Ford explorer. Sidewalls are around 5" inches! I dunno who's strong enough to lift a 4-5k pound vehicle 5" by themselves. Engineering stupidity, pure and simple. The frame and suspension was too low to the ground for the included bottle jack to fit with a full flat. Had to go get a scissor jack (not included with the Ford) to get under the frame.

what gives? massive brainwashing? just plain naive? retarded?
Been that way ever since the 87 IROC 350 came out...

Every magazine comparison between the 2 back then always pitted the 305 TPI against the 302 FI

I recall Motor Trend did a 350TPI against the 5.0 FI and even after the 350 IROC cleaned the rustangs clock in EVERY catagory, they STILL concluded the rustang was the better car

But that was OK...me and my buddy proved MT wrong nearly every Friday and Saturday night back in the day
