yes! or you'll burn the clutch you can also rev(gas) it jump the clutch and at the same time brake it then you'll lock up the front brakes for an even better burnout or just to be safe purchase a brake control kit by slp for about
150$ good for heating the tires to get a nice hook.

hey what is the pin# for purchase on the shift light, because I have a tach meter on my Ls1 Z28 camaro and I unhooked it.It was'nt reading right I spliced it with the white wire near the ecu and it worked ok but it started turning off and on was'nt a good conection give met some tips to wire it properly
