I am looking at one of my recent stubs and I think it is labeled as HLTH-P and that cost $61.75. One Aflac policy was $9.05 and the other Aflac policy was $13.06.

These were after the state deductions.

Combine all and that was $174.93 out of my check.

lol cuervo, sorry to do this to you, my buddy has the 88 cherokee with the 6 cylinder inline 4.whatever similar to yours.

the damn heat isnt working, which is strange, because I go underhood to the vacume operated valve that lets hot water into the cab and the heater core... I manually hold that bitch open and its still cold as fuck. What do you think? I can feel hot water inside the water line up to the valve. what gives?

try flushing out the entire system and heater core. sometimes crap builds up in the heater core and wont be flushed out with a regular flush. remove the heater hoses from the water pump and run a water hose into one then the other. keep alternating until all the crap is out.

another option is upgarding to an entire 92 and up (I think 92) system it was set up way better and had an actual fill tube on the radiator instead of using the bottle for filling and overflow.

Well the new guy threw in his 2 week notice today lol. looks like I will have to sit down and have a little chat with the boss and bring up these points.

    1) been here over five years and only seen one raise,I have been carrying this place lately
    2) Remind him just how much that the techs get because of me.
3)it seems that since you lost 4 employees in a 1 month period that you should leave the 3 week vacation at 5 years.Afterall the newest was only here for 2 weeks the one that was here longest was 4 years. Your record with new employees isn't good.
    4) Maybe you should take better care of your employees, better insurance, add dental and eyesight coverage as well and more frequant raises.
    5) maybe if you had the oil filters stocked as they should be there will be less wait time
    6) if you would hook up the balancer in my area I will get alot more done.

Actually the last one we discussed today.he kept trying to come with excuses. I (in a calm and rational voice) said "OK John cut the bullshit you know as well as I do that if the balancer is hooked up with it being so close to the tire machine I can balance and mount at the same time just about. Then when done all the tires are right there at the car, that will cut a good 10 minutes or so. now if you figure in 2 or 3 people doing tires at the same time there will be less wait time for a balancer, if any.

he then brought up the other balancer that is back to back with the other good balancer.

me: well I guess you could do that, but you will have to have it fixed first like we told you to several times since we got the new machine.
him: you should have reminded me the other day when he was here
me: Oh you mean when I was in over my head in work that everyone piles on me (which will be another point made as well) and barely had time to breath.

thats when he finally said ok I will have to do something soon then.

I think I am finally wearing him down....for now.Any fisherman can tell you how a second wind usually comes to a fish after a long hard battle and you think the fish is as good as in the boat. Same thing...but I expect another battle.

as soon as a good halibut breaks the water, he takes off and you have to start all over again from scratch if you dont gaff him right away.

You know after ribbing Rich (Cammed goat) about putting the wrong sized tries on a car, what do I do. Yup put the wrong sized tires on a car, but in my defense there was no labels on 2 of them and they was stacked on the pile of the size I needed.

John(the ass boss): HOW IN THE HELL CAN YOU PUT 2 WRONG SIZED TIRES ON A CAR
me: HOW IN THE HELL DOES YOUR COLLEGE EDUCATED EMPLOYEES (mostley his nephew)STACK THE WRONG TIRES IN THE WRONG PLACE
him: WELL YOU SHOULD READ THE TIRE
me: HEY DUMBASS I HAD TEN CARS ON MY HOOK AND YOU WAS HAVING A BABY OVER THAT,DO YOU REALLY THINK I HAVE TIME TO READ EVERY FUCKING TIRE. NOT TO MENTION IN THIS CATASTROPHE OF A WAREHOUSE EVERTHING IS EITHER IN THE WRONG PLACE OR MISSING LABELS.
    him: *hangs head walks away*

later he came and told me congrats I got a dollar raise. this was thurs.

fri was uneventful except at the end of the day when the wife notified me that she got a job as a substitude teacher and explained that sometimes I may be late for work. so I told the boss

me: the wife got a job as a substitude teacher and there will be som mornings I will be late
him: no way in hell that is happening.

I was so pissed i just clocked out(quitting time anyway) and went home, but got caught in traffic for an hour on 202. That caused me to not get my check cashed because the bank was closed by the time I got there. between those 2 things I was so pissed I couldn't see straight or think straight. Walked in the door and it begain.

wife: well did you tell your boss
me :yep, he said there was no way in hell that wa happening.
I then told her about not being able to cash my check as well.

She went crazy started yelling at me and I snapped
me: SHUT THE FUCK UP RIGHT NOW,I AM IN NO FOOKIN MOOD TO HEAR YOUR SHIT YOU ARE YELLING AT ME LIKE IT IS MY FAULT. IF YOU KEEP THIS SHIT UP I WILL DEVORCE YOU.I AM SICK AND TIRED OF GETTING YELLED AT BECAUSE OF OTHERS FUCK UPS.

she shut her mouth and went to our room.I kinda felt bad until this morning when she was telling me sorry that she yelled at me that she realizes that it wasn't my fault and she was wrong.

today found out from the guy that is leaving due to him working 2 jobs and the lesser has to go, that where he works is hiring. starting at 17 an hr + 15% for second shift.+ way better benifits, which starts in 1 month,4 10 hr days,or nights ect ect ect. HE HAS ONLY BEEN THERE 1.5 YEARS AND ALREADY MAKING 22 AN HOUR. I am going to talk to my wife about it tomorrow and see what she thinks.I will be able to work get some sleep, get him ready(my son) for school ,get him on the bus and sleep until the wife gets home. I so need to get out of the shop i now call wonderland,I wonder how it stays afloat ,and like alice in wonderland it is a place where nonsense makes perfect sense.

Without experienced, motivated employees, that shop will suffer...and none of the boss' arguments will change that. Congrats to Kim on the new job.

I know you dont wanna hear it man, and accidents do happen, but the guy mounting the tire is supposed to pay attention to what he is doing. ALWAYS check the size on the sidewall of the tire before you mount it. You can point fingers all you want and you'll still be the guy that mounted the tire.
