SS vs Mach 1 ?

The main difference in stock form is this: The Mach 1 has a POS transmission and the SS has a POS rear-end.

Driver's race.

Mach 1 is a better-built car from a QC and squeeks/rattles standpoint, SS is better driveline (minus the rear which isn't as bad as ppl have you think).

The T45 is a great transmission i think... As long as you keep the HP numbers under 375-400, which the average stang driver does, they'll last you long time! I dunno about the new tranny's after 02 though, havnt ever owned one of them.

Mach 1 will out handle the camaro ,,brake better,, looks way better run just as fast is definitely a limited production car with a steel crank ,and is a R code engine which gives it colloector status ,and the Mach 1000 sound system is better as well I owned one of these cars ,and I was lookin at a 2003 camaro as well drove them both and honestly I liked the Mach definitely comfortable and if you want to make it go fast spray the prick on a 150 shot these car make 500hp !pretty cheap horsepower ,the reason being is the heads breath so well ,your turn

Inever had any issues nor did any body I knew ,once you start makin horsepower your gonna break things thats the way it is !

The T45 is not in the Mach, 01-1/2+ gets a TR3650...the tranny responsible for half a dozen TSB's so far and a lawsuit pending IIRC.
